UMANG is an application where more then 200 services offered by Central, State and Local administrations under one single platform. Currently there are 167 services from 33 different departments are available and still aiding more.
Modi government working towards making India completely digital in the forthcoming years, so everyone shifts to digital transaction and not depend on cash transactions, and also perform every task via online platform. In line with the same, Umang is also one such initiative to promote Digital India program.
Umang app provides all PAN India e-Gov services from central to local government and other citizen services like — Aadhaar and Digilocker, agriculture, education, employment and skills, energy, finance, health, housing, police, public grievance, revenue, transport, and utility. In future, the application will be providing integration with various other services such as PayGov and more.

Umang app is available for Android, iOS and also for Windows users. One can download the same at no cost from Google Play store, Apple’s App store and also Windows store. The application is available on multiple channels like mobile application, web, IVR, and SMS and can be accessed through smartphones, feature phones, tablets and even desktops.
